WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR (used as a low cost fibre source in commercial dog food) is the leading cause of dog allergies. Absolutely useless with no nutritional value whatsoever. Also Wheat used in commercial dog food are FOOD FRAGMENTS (filler/fibre source/carbohydrate source). Low cost by-products and left overs from another food manufacturing process. Examples include WHEAT BRAN and BREWER’S RICE (a waste product of the alcohol industry). Imagine a repetitive daily feeding of this type of product over years. It is not a good thing. (Think about having one meal to eat daily for you and your family, such as hotdogs for example. The occasional hotdog, which is filled with harmful nitrates, fillers and chemicals is not going to harm us. Eating hotdogs daily for your whole life, now that is when the danger of illness begins.)
