Nuts in general have a high phosphorus content which causes the formation of bladder stones in dogs, which ultamately may cause extremely painful bladder stones and/or complete urinary tract blockage, which is considered an immediate emergency.

So basically, stay away from any and all nuts. Your dog won’t miss what he doesn’t know.

The leaves, fruit, seeds and bark of avocados contain Persin, which can cause vomiting and diarrhea in dogs.

The first sign of avocado dog poisoning is typically

• Abdominal enlargement
• Fluid accumulation in the chest, abdomen and heart

Some ingestions may even be fatal.

Since it is unknown how much is too much simply stay away from Avocados completely

Raw Yeast dough can rise and cause gas to accumulate in your pet’s digestive system.

This can cause extreme pain, and possibility of intestinal or stomach rupture, and eventually DEATH.

• Low doses of garlic is put in some treats and/or supplements, as a natural flea remedy. This may be fine, but avoid giving your pet a homemade flea remedy with excessive amount of garlic. (I simply don’t use or buy anything pet related that contains garlic – Better safe than sorry!)
