See the Best Certified Organic Dog Food Brands REVIEW @ ORGANIC DOG FOOD REVIEW:
Certified Organic Dog Food is an excellent choice of pet foods available today.
Certified Organic goods are monitored and reviewed by a third party organization, that is separate from the dog food industry standards.
This alone gives this specialized food a higher quality rating.
What you should find on the label.
A stamp or guarantee from a third party agency will be somewhere on the label. The third party agency may or may not be named, but the stamp must say “certified organic” or “verified organic”. There are hundreds of agencies that can certify a product as organic, which will either be by country, or state, and sometimes cities.
About Certified Organic Dog Food Labelling
“100% Organic” — All ingredients in the food are certified organic. (excluding water and salt)
A stamp on packaging indicating 100% Organic will ensure the complete product is organic.
EXAMPLE: Usually a single source ingredient such as Evanger’s 100% Organic Cooked Chicken ==>
INGREDIENT List of Evangers: Whole Dressed Organic Chicken
“Organic” — The food contains 95 to 99 percent organic ingredients (by weight), and can display the Organic label.
INGREDIENT LIST OF PAW NATURAW ORGANIC TURKEY:
Organic Turkey and Ground Organic Turkey Bone, Organic Turkey Liver, Organic Broccoli, Organic Carrot, Organic Celery, Organic Apple, Organic Squash, Organic Sweet Potato, Organic Turkey Gizzard, Organic Flax Seed, Organic Safflower Oil, Organic Kelp Seaweed, Organic Turkey Gizzard, Organic Turkey Heart, Organic Wheat Grass, Organic Parsley, Organic Cranberry, Organic Lecithin, Zinc Proteinate, Vitamin E Supplement, Copper Proteinate, Manganous Proteinate, Calcium Iodate, and Vitamin D3 Supplement.

“Made With Organic Ingredients” — Contains 70 to 94 percent organic ingredients.
An official Organic seal cannot be used, but a list of the specific organic ingredients can be advertised.
EXAMPLE of a food without a seal, but how they advertise the food:
Organix Adult Canine Dry Dog Food advertises the exact ingredients which are organic.
Other — Products with less than 70% organic ingredients may only list organic ingredients on the ingredient list , with No seal.
Wysong Epigen does not advertise anywhere on the promos or bag that this a certified organic product, but if you read the label the first ingredient is Organic Chicken.
This is actually the only organic ingredient.
Epigen is another great product, and their focus is other healthy and desirable methods of making pet food as advertised on their official website here:

HERE ARE A FEW EXAMPLES OF WHAT ORGANIC DOG FOOD MAY HAVE ON THE LABEL. – If in doubt, read the ingredient list to be sure!
This will vary from state to state, country to country, and company to company.
As long as a third party has certified or verified specific ingredients as explained above, then the stamp will be visible somewhere on the packaging.
