About Dehydration
Dehydration or drying, is one of the oldest and gentlest methods of food preservation.
Food dehydration works by removing only the water content from the ingredients. All other nutrients remain, and become highly concentrated.
Dried foods are extremely nutritious, easy to prepare and store, and light weight to ship.
Some dehydrated dog foods contain meat, or some need you to add your own cooked or raw meat. It comes in various formulas.
Just add liquid to reconstitute.
ABOUT FREEZE DRYING
Either cooked or raw food is flash frozen, then at extremely low temperatures (-50 F), 90% of moisture is drawn off in a vacuum.
Freeze-dried food is sealed in a moisture and oxygen proof package, which keeps the food fresh.
The food is reconstituted with water and is ready to serve.
Freeze drying is also very nutritious, easy to prepare and store, and light weight to ship
You can get with or without meat, which ever you prefer.

Pre mixes are simply either freeze dried or dehydrated dog food without the addition of meat. Whey you buy a pre-mix you will need to add your own protein source.
